Spanish Speaking Group

OJOS LATINOS is a support group for Spanish speaking visually impaired people and their carers. The group usually meets on a monthly basis, in a comfortable informal setting, at St Peters Town Hall in Sydenham.

The group runs on the principle of self-help and mutual support, which is a crucial aspect of the role of a support group. Some participants are volunteers who are prepared to extend the group services to visually impaired people who are unable to attend the group.

The group has a Spanish group leader who organises the meetings, casual outings and arranges guest speakers for the group participants.
